Arcimoto SRK IPO Reveals Expected Average Price

Published on July 2nd, 2017 | by Nicolas Zart

The Arcimoto team, based out of Eugene, Oregon, did a great job with its electric three-wheeler, the SRK. I think an electric three-wheel platform, otherwise known as RT3, is one of the most ideal solutions to urban mobility, allowing for fast and convenient hops throughout the city. And the Arcimoto SRK certainly looks like it would be fun to own, whether I lived in a city, the countryside, or the desert. I briefly test drove an early version of the SRK at the Los Angeles Auto Show and was immediately impressed... Read More

Tesla Model 3 Month Is Here

Published on July 1st, 2017 | by Zachary Shahan

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said on multiple occasions in the past year that the target was to start production of the Tesla Model 3 in July. When he first said this (on one of Tesla's quarterly conference calls), he was very hesitant to say it because he indicated it was a strict target for suppliers specifically because they knew not all suppliers would end up meeting the target. Published on June 30th, 2017 | by James Ayre

A new "hypermiling" record for production electric vehicles has been set by a pair from Belgium, using a Tesla Model S 100D. The duo in question, Steven Peeters and Joeri Cools, managed to squeeze 560 miles (901 kilometers) out of the Tesla Model S 100D in question, by traveling at an average of 24 miles per hour (39 km/h) for right around 24 hours. Before we go further about the short-term news, there's a very important lesson to be learned and shared (again) regarding this record and how it relates to the practicality of EV life today...
